- I have been using Grindstix for about a month now and I have not broken a single stick. They are of with hickory wood, so they are strong, but are light enough to be able to play at whatever tempo you want to play. I used Grindstix on the past Faceless tour and no matter how hot it got on stage, they never slipped out of my hands. - I haven't been able to put these sticks down since I got them. The balance on the 5As is absolutely perfect. They feel great, like they are extension of my hand. Everything about these sticks screams attention to detail in the design. The shoulder taper adds to the balance and eliminates vibration from transferring from the tip of the stick to my hand. It makes the stick feel rock-solid. Even the placement of the Grindstix logo gives me a great visual reference where my thumb should be to get the best fulcrum point to go into a blast. - I have played 4 practices and 3 gigs since I got the sticks, My old sticks used to snap with my intensity of playing (Zildjian 5A Sticks) The Grindstix are still staying strong!
